Dr. Berenholz, always an innovator, tested the first Emsella chair in the United States. He was asked by the BTL Corporation to perform a study on the effectiveness of the electromagnetic chair for the treatment of incontinence. 20 women with varying degrees of urge incontinence and stress urinary incontinence were selected for the study. It should be noted that the Emsella chair was FDA cleared. The results of his study was so remarkable that in October of this year Dr. Berenholz will publish the first study on the effectiveness of high-intensity electromagnetic fields on the pelvic floor for the treatment of incontinence. The results of his study was remarkable. Over 90% of the women were extremely satisfied with the improvement in the quality of their lives using the electromagnetic chair.

He has been asked by the BTL Corporation to be their official spokesperson for this technology. Dr Berenholz has already given a presentation to the entire sales force and corporate team of BTL in Sarasota, Florida earlier this month.Dr Berenholz will be conducting webinars to educate physicians throughout the United States on the technology and effectiveness of the electromagnetic chair for the treatment of incontinence. He has already begun to conduct a study on fecal incontinence a little-known problem of which many women suffer throughout the country.
